CBC is a family-owned coffee exporting and retail company based in Kigali, Rwanda with operations in Burundi. It was founded in 2002 by Mr J. Paul Rwagasana as a strategic response to the growing demand of Rwandan coffee. Since then, it has played a pioneering role in revitalizing an industry that was severely decimated by the 1994 Rwandan genocide against the Tutsi and helped transform it into the cash crop that benefits more than 400,000 farmers that it is today. 

Led by founder and chairman, Mr. J. Paul Rwagasana, CBC possesses a combined extensive knowledge and experience that spans more than 35 years in the coffee industry, from farming to production, processing, quality control, marketing and export operations. Over the years, CBC has cultivated a trusted global network that stretches across the entire coffee supply chain.

Our primary goals and the main reason for existence are to serve each and every one of our clients with the utmost care & swiftness and contribute to the betterment of all our farmers. It is why we have significantly invested in owning our entire supply chain, from washing stations to the dry mill and warehousing to ensure impeccable service delivery & quality control and be answerable to any issue, however small or big, that might arise from our stakeholders.

We have the stringiest measures in our quality control process by maintaining a modern cupping laboratory and certified graders/cuppers, all following SCAA standards.
